Hi dolls! As promised, I've gone ahead and played around with the new additions to my ever-growing makeup collection; and of course I filmed it all for you guys. I tested the new Bh Cosmetics Studio Pro Total Coverage concealers, as well as the Take Me Back to Brazil palette, on camera and I shared my first impressions/thoughts on their performance.
Be sure to check out that video (linked at the end of this post) for a full explanation and to see these products in action. For this blogpost, I'll just give my overall impressions without going into too much detail.
Regarding the concealers, I do think they will work quite well for a lot of people, so long as you work with them quickly. Maybe also pair it with a colour corrector of your choice if you have a lot of discolouration you're hoping to cover. As for the palette, I have such mixed feelings. On one hand, from my experience so far, I'm not comfortable recommending this to others, but I also want to continue putting it to the test since there is such a variety of shades offered. Also, judging from the reviews online, people seem to really be loving the Take Me Back to Brazil palette so far, so maybe I ought to keep messing about with it before completely writing it off.
For the look I created today, I am happy (-ish) with the end result, it just took quite a bit of effort to get here. And even still, I'm not completely happy with how the shadows blended, but nonetheless, there will be more looks to come! I think next time, I will omit using a paint pot and see if that changes the performance of the shadows- so stay tuned!
Anyhoo, if you guys are curious about any of the products I used or you want to see my tutorial/first impressions/review, then just keep on scrolling! :)
xoxo
