Once the days of puppy breath have passed and the onset of adult teeth ushers in some funky breath (and no amount of doggie toothpaste can save the day), instead of wishing you could take a break from your sense of smell, I've got some pet safe breath mints you can give a try!
To keep things nice and simple, 4 out of the 5 are "stick em' in the freezer & forget about it" recipes, and ONLY 1 is a "damn gotta clear out the oven to bake it" recipe.
All of the ingredients should be fairly easy to source, between local grocery stores, farmer's markets, and pet stores: for raw kefir & raw goats milk. Raw Kefir could also be substituted with plain unsweetened kefir.
To learn more about the proven benefits of kefir and how to make your own at home, check out this article: IS KEFIR BENEFICIAL IN MY PET'S RAW DIET? HOW TO MAKE KEFIR & KEFIR CHEESE
Below you can find all the ingredients for each "breath mint" listed. For instructions on the baked recipe and to see how I put everything together, check out the video linked at the end of this post!
